All About Gold

Hi beauties!

First of all happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice weekend.

What´s on today?

Happens that cosmetics I am going to talk about both come in gold, sort of.

Let me begin by saying that gold actually has amazing health-giving properties. It´s not just pretty, shiny. It has anti-bacterial properties and does a great job with wrinkles for example, among other things.  And while both products I am about to talk about do not contain gold, one of them contains tiny shimmering mineral particles, it is something worth noting.

First product, amazing stuff! Huile Prodigieuse Or from NUXE. Dry oil that you can use for face, body and hair. I was never a big fan of oils. I believe it´s due to the consistency of oils in general and the feeling of stickiness afterwards, big NO from me. However, this one is different in so many ways. As already mentioned, it´s dry yet, it nourishes and softens your skin incredibly well.  It illuminates your skin. I believe it´s perfect for both summer and winter. Especially if you want to achieve that ´sun-kissed´look in wintertime. It smells quite nice and has the earlier mentioned tiny shimmering mineral particles. If you decide to go for it, always remember to shake it well before use.

Second cosmetic is Touche Éclat Complexion Highlighter (concealer) from Yves Saint Laurent. It does not have anything gold except for packaging. Yet, I must mention it, because I think it´s the best concealer I have ever used. It emphasizes radiance over coverage and does not mask the skin for a more natural, luminous complexion. Also, it erases signs of fatigue, like dark circles.

Regarding concealers, if you really want to ensure that it does the job, always buy it at least 2 shades lighter than your foundation. Number 2 of Touche Éclat is the most popular one, just FYI. However, before buying one don´t be afraid to ask for the right shade if you aren´t sure which one is best for your skin tone (same goes for foundations).

That´s it for today my beauties. Soon a special Valentine´s Day related post coming your way! Keep checking our Instagram for more info.
