I did some research and I was amazed by the amount of advantages it has!

Coconut oil is loaded with good fats that provide us with energy, it helps to fight microbes in the body and is excellent for cooking. It even smells amazing!

Most importantly coconut oil for skin is actually a thing! Coconut oil benefits from the outside-in. It’s an all-natural method to eliminate many of the toxins, but also a cost-effective way to care for your body.

Thanks to it low molecular weight and the way it bonds with proteins, coconut oil can penetrate your skin on a much deeper level that your average moisturiser. You can use it as a body oil, face wash, makeup remover, night cream, lip balm, and massage oil. Not only it will moisturise, but it will also detoxify your skin and kill all the bacteria. Say goodbye to unwanted pimples beauties!

Speaking of its antibacterial properties, coconut oil contains capric, caprylic and lauric acids, that posses both disinfectant and antimicrobial properties, which help to protect as well as heal any microbial infections. For example, you can use coconut oil to treat cold sores.

Its moisturising and healing properties can help you reduce stretch marks that are left behind. Basically, coconut oils helps them fade. Just make sure you use it regularly to keep your skin moisturised and speed up the healing process.

It also has weight-loss properties. As mentioned above, coconut oil has energy-creating abilities, and it’s a no-carb oil. It helps burn fat and calories, decrease appetite. Studies show that it was especially helpful in losing belly fat.

Lastly, it benefits for hair care. If you have dandruff or dry hair, coconut oil has the perfect fatty acids to help improve these conditions.
You can make homemade coconut lavender shampoo to improve your hair, or simply use it as an all-natural hair conditioner.
To thicken your hair you can massage one tablespoon of coconut oil mixed with 10 drops of rosemary essential oil into your scalp for three minutes and rinse it off after 30 minutes.
